Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use is subject to the laws of England and Wales for matters relating to thinkerdoer Limited, and the laws of the State of Florida for matters relating to thinkerdoer LLC.

7. Intellectual Property, Asset Storage & File Release

thinkerdoer maintains a clear distinction between Deliverables (the final work purchased by the client) and Source Materials (the proprietary methods and files used to create that work).

• Ownership of Deliverables: Upon full payment of all fees, the client is granted ownership or a license to use the final, approved artwork or digital files (e.g., a PDF brochure or a launched website).
  
• Ownership of Source Files & Concepts: All source files, including but not limited to layered design files (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), raw code, and exploratory work or concepts presented but not selected, remain the exclusive property of thinkerdoer.
  
• File Release: The release of proprietary source files is not included in standard project fees. Should a client require the transfer of source materials, this must be negotiated as a separate intellectual property buyout.
  
• Third-Party Rights: thinkerdoer often utilizes third-party assets, such as stock imagery, typefaces, or specialized software. Ownership and usage rights for these assets are governed by their respective originators (e.g., Getty Images, Adobe Fonts). thinkerdoer cannot transfer ownership of third-party licenses to the client; these must be licensed independently by the client where required for ongoing use.
  
• Archival & Storage: We offer a complimentary storage period of 12 months from the date of project completion for final deliverables. While we take every precaution to maintain backups, thinkerdoer is not responsible for the permanent archiving of client data beyond this period. We recommend that clients maintain their own secure copies of all final deliverables.
